Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-Thon!

Hey guys! Just a quick post to let you know what I plan on reading today for Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-Thon. I’m not sure if I will read the whole book since I haven’t been reading much this week because my eyes have been bothering me. I am going to try my best, read as much as I can and have fun.

If you are participating, let me know what you plan on reading. I hope to read:

2321296Ink Exchange (Wicked Lovely #2) by Melissa Marr

Details: Paperback, 352 pages
Published: March 31st 2009 (first published 2008)

Summary: Unbeknownst to mortals, a power struggle is unfolding in a world of shadows and danger. After centuries of stability, the balance among the Faery Courts has altered, and Irial, ruler of the Dark Court, is battling to hold his rebellious and newly vulnerable fey together. If he fails, bloodshed and brutality will follow.

Seventeen-year-old Leslie knows nothing of faeries or their intrigues. When she is attracted to an eerily beautiful tattoo of eyes and wings, all she knows is that she has to have it, convinced it is a tangible symbol of changes she desperately craves for her own life.

The tattoo does bring changes—not the kind Leslie has dreamed of, but sinister, compelling changes that are more than symbolic. Those changes will bind Leslie and Irial together, drawing Leslie deeper and deeper into the faery world, unable to resist its allures, and helpless to withstand its perils. . . .

  2. Love that pic – every readathon I can barely contain my excitement for the first few hours. Hope your eyes aren’t giving you trouble. If they are, switch to audiobooks! It’s great to get some eye rest.

    Have fun reading!

  3. You’ve almost made it to the halfway point! “A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading.” ― William Styron I hope you’re not exhausted yet, but have found some great books!
